Give the AI your target work, experience, skills, qualifications, location, hours, pay and anything you want to avoid. You can refine these as you go.
AI4U · Aletheia
A free starter that helps an AI learn what work you want, search for genuinely live vacancies, improve your CV and LinkedIn profile, tailor applications and prepare for interviews.
What happens next: Aletheia is copied first and the AI opens in a new window. Click the AI message box, press Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command+V), then press Enter or the Send button. The browser will also speak these instructions when supported.
Free job-search resources Save / view the MarkdownGive the AI your target work, experience, skills, qualifications, location, hours, pay and anything you want to avoid. You can refine these as you go.
The app tells the AI to verify individual live vacancy pages and reject stale search snippets, expired adverts and speculative “maybe they hire” results.
Upload or paste your CV and a real vacancy. The AI compares them, finds truthful keywords and evidence, and suggests clearer wording without inventing experience.
Review your headline, About section, experience, skills and job preferences so recruiters can understand what you actually do.
Use the real advert to draft a tailored application or cover letter and rehearse interview questions using your genuine examples.
Say things naturally such as “too far”, “I would do that for £25 an hour” or “more technical, less management”. The search profile can adapt.
A result is only presented as a current vacancy when the AI can verify an identifiable role and individual vacancy or application page that appears to be accepting applications. It is better to return no suitable current jobs than fill the page with ghosts.
The app favours simple, readable CVs with standard headings, truthful terminology from the vacancy and clear evidence. It specifically tells the AI not to keyword-stuff or invent skills just to get through a recruitment filter.
The Markdown is provider-neutral. Save it with your CV or copy it into an AI that can browse the web. The instructions remain yours rather than being locked inside one service.
You do not have to leave all the useful material hidden on a Resources page. These are the free references the Aletheia starter can suggest when they match what you are doing.
Books are optional, not a toll gate. One useful current choice is What Color Is Your Parachute? Job-Hunter's Workbook, Seventh Edition by Richard N. Bolles (2025), especially for identifying transferable skills and deciding what sort of work to target. The What Color Is Your Parachute? Guide to Rethinking Interviews is a more interview-focused companion.
